Terrain: This unit is the exact meaning of its name, desert. This is one of the largest acreage units in the state. You will be hunting cedar trees and sagebrush. This unit used to be the best in the state, but has slowed down as other units caught up to it. Easy to moderate hiking, lots of access as well as public BLM land.
Bulls: The average bull is 340-360. The vastness of flat cedars tends to hold a few book bulls each year. But that’s why there big, very hard to kill one of those type bulls in this unit.
